Among OWF’s numerous fundraisers is the Hudder Putter Classic, which honors Hudson John Schlieve. Born sleeping due to an umbilical cord issue, Hudson’s nickname, Hudder Budder, is lent to the event.
The 2017 Hudder Putter Classic takes place on June 2nd and is open to players of all skill levels. Through the registration fee, players pay for carts and the use of the greens, in addition to receiving a boxed lunch, a pair of drinks, and a gift.
The event follows the Olivia Aldredge Silent Auction & Benefit Concert on June 1st, with Hudder Putter Classic registered players receiving a complimentary ticket to the auction.
Players can contribute further through the purchase of mulligans and via paying for a professional golfer to hit their drives. Finally, multiple prizes, including rewards for the best team theme, closest shot to the pin, and longest drive, will be distributed throughout the day.
